Master Plan & Major Facilities of iCity New Cairo
The master plan of iCity New Cairo was planned by world-renowned architects to result in a sustainable, eco-friendly,zero-traffic, and zero-pollution city. Using the 500 acres, the master plan of iCity New Cairo is divided into 5 districts; one for the residential area or the “islands”, one for the 6 parks in the city ( Lagoon Park, Royal Park, Creek Park, Central Park, Mountain Park, and Club Park).
Another district is dedicated to the iDrive area which is the only driving area in the city to keep the rest traffic-free. Finally, the whole city is connected with a 15km corniche.
You need to know that the iCity New Cairo master plan was designed with only 12% of the total land area dedicated to the built-up are and the remaining for the outdoor spaces, landscaping, and greenery to provide you with the green healthy life you desire.
Also, before talking about the iCity New Cairo master plan, we need to explain the concept of the 4D designs. The city is layered into four dimensions and the first dimension is for green areas and gardens. The second dimension is for the motorway and parking, introducing the new iDrive concept.
